Timothy Blake is a wildlife photographer with a passion for documenting the natural world through his lens. Armed with a Canon EOS R8 and a 100–500mm telephoto lens, Timothy seeks out wildlife in their natural habitats - from local nature reserves where the Red Kite soars overhead, to remote East African swamps where the Shoebill waits motionless in the reeds.
The Chasing Feathers project is both a personal archive and a public resource. From the Cheetah of the Serengeti to the Peregrine Falcon of the British uplands, the goal is to capture as many species as possible while raising awareness for threatened animals.
With every new expedition, whether into the local woodlands or across continents, my portfolio grows. My aim is to create an educational resource that goes beyond aesthetics, offering genuine insights into animal behavior, habitat conservation, and the technical challenges of capturing these fleeting moments in the wild. I hope these images inspire you to build a deeper appreciation for the natural world and the urgent need to protect it.
